Someone posted to their Facebook page a link to a Cosmopolitan magazine article about pick-up lines for women. They were for women to pick up men. They were funny, but very tacky. Or crass. Downtown on the Square is a cute little restaurant/bar in downtown Columbia City, Indiana. The restaurant has booths with huge tables. The overall decor is neutral, with photos of Columbia City landmarks. I had prime rib and it was delicious. For an appetizer, I had chips and salsa. The chips were unusual; they had some sort of spice on them. I had lemonade to drink and it was very good; sweet with a little bit of tartness.  Entrees run between $10 and $30. It's open until 10 p.m. on weeknights. The address is 111 South Main Street, Columbia City, Indiana. Phone them at 260-244.4011. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. Friday and Saturday, it's open until 11 p.m. and Sunday it's open until 9 p.m.  It seemed like a casual restaurant, but seemingly a bit more elegant than your usual downtown diner.
