My heart aches for Puerto Rico , one of my ancestral homelands. Not only did it have to deal with bankruptcy, but an official says Hurricane Maria "destroyed" the island. I had many good times there. But seeing the devastation makes me wonder if it can come back to life. As far as I know, I have two relatives there. I don't know how they are doing. One of them is a big-deal athlete on the island. The other is the cousin who is three weeks younger than I am. I hope they are safe.
